Doo-Wop Wawa. Another example of overlapping photos from my #contaxiii on #kodak2238. When Wawa wanted to build in Wildwood, they went before the zoning board and were told that their usual cookie cutter store wouldn’t cut it and they should attempt to fit in with the vernacular Doo-Wop architecture that defines the city. Returning to the theme of Hot Texas Wieners, Libby’s Lunch in Paterson is one of the first places to originate the dish. They’re located near the Great Falls in Paterson on land owned by the city. Unfortunately, they are on the verge of shutting down, as their landlord, the aforementioned city of Paterson, is not happy that they haven’t received rent in the past three years. Oops. First roll through my new-to-me Contax III. Eastman 5222 Double X (via @cinestillfilm) developed in #rodinal 1:50 for 11 minutes. The camera has an f/1.5 Sonnar lens, and I’m loving it. I’ve had three Kiev rangefinders, which are essentially the same camera, but this one feels more solid than the later ones I had, which were made in the 1970s. My Kiev II from 1952 fells very similar to this, though. All my Kiev’s are broken, sadly, and it’s hard to find anyone willing to fix them. The 1952 would be worth fixing. Anyway, I’m loving this 1936 Contax.

Pulling out the line.
A few weeks ago, we joined my sister-in-law and nephew in Point Pleasant Beach to watch the tug-o-war across the inlet between PPB and Manasquan. The rounds are divided into two sets so they can let traffic through between. This is the boat fro the Point Pleasant Beach side pulling out the rope to be joined with the rope from the Manasquan side for the second set of rounds.

My friend @asdfwendyfdsa a month or two ago when she told me about the @icp moving sale. I picked up an enlarger easel and a Polaroid 8x10 processor.
