Feeding the line.
Volunteers feed the tug-o-war line out as the boat takes it to the middle of the inlet for the Point Pleasant Beach-Manasquan cross-inlet tug-o-war a few weeks ago. Pulling out the line.
A few weeks ago, we joined my sister-in-law and nephew in Point Pleasant Beach to watch the tug-o-war across the inlet between PPB and Manasquan. The rounds are divided into two sets so they can let traffic through between. This is the boat fro the Point Pleasant Beach side pulling out the rope to be joined with the rope from the Manasquan side for the second set of rounds.

Another @arsimago #labbox fuckup. The first roll was Film Ferrania P30. Maybe there was something in the film that caused this? So this time I tried Tri-X. It’s about as common a film as you can find. And this one was worse. More than half the roll blown. EDIT: I think I may have figured out what causes this. When I disassembled the box to dry, I discovered that I had the reel put together wrong. Right side connected to the left side of the axel and vice-versa. I made sure the entry points were matched up, but looks like that wasn’t enough. So I’m going to try again in a couple of days, making sure the reel is correct
