A few weeks ago, my friend @stribs and his wife Amy came down from Brooklyn to sample the wares of a couple of the Jersey Shore’s finest breweries. First stop was @cartonbrewing. I brought my Pentax 67 along, loaded with Tri-X. @dogfishhead chief Sam Calagione had posted a video several months ago where he said that you could develop film in their new SuperEIGHT gose. It seemed like a good match to develop the film from this visit using that method. The film turned out grainier than my usual Rodinal, but I like grain, and I’m happy with the results. If you want to try, search for Dogfish Head and Kodak, and you’ll come across a page on the Kodak web site that explains how to do this. I substituted washing soda for baking soda because that’s the usual recipe for Caffenol. #beer #film #filmphotography #beerinal #beerinol
